VIBRANT INSURANCE GROUP ACQUIRES DONAGHY KEMPTON INSURORS
As of January 1, 2025, DKI will do business as Vibrant Insurance Group.
West Des Moines, Iowa – Vibrant Insurance Group announced on January 1, 2025, it has acquired Donaghy Kempton Insurors (DKI), formerly located in north Des Moines. DKI, a mid-size insurance advisory firm, has moved all operations and employees to the Vibrant corporate offices in West Des Moines and is now operating as Vibrant Insurance Group.
Started in 1975 by Larry Donaghy and Jack Kempton, Joel Donaghy and his two employees have joined the Vibrant Insurance Group team.
Vibrant Insurance Group President Joey Hinke said the acquisition will offer expanded customized coverage options for both companies’ clients. DKI brings expertise in the trucking and business industries, and Vibrant Insurance Group specializes in innovative personal and commercial lines coverage options through a variety of carrier partnerships.
“I’m always looking for ways we can improve and expand the services and value Vibrant Insurance Group offers,” Hinke explained. “This acquisition means adding even more customized services to our already amazing team.”
Originally founded in 1978, Vibrant Insurance Group was known as Miller, Fidler & Hinke until March 2023, when the company rebranded to its current name.
